We will continue with the theme of Kabbalah and Healing with the focus of: What healing are you calling into your life right now? We will hold this over for two weeks since next week is the first of October and therefore a meditation night.
Tonight we had an open floor for any thoughts, experiences, reflections on Kabbalah and Healing. The first to shared spoke of her experience of discovering in her current work-group a Rabbi who recognized her doodlings of the Tree of Life. He approached her with an open heart and mind saying that in his tradition they have a slightly different version of the Tree (no paths between Hod and Malkhut and Netzah and Malkhut) which initiated a dialog that has been ongoing and very lively. Our companion shared how she has reflected on one conversation the two of them had about the Divine Marriage and how her commitment to the Kabbalah and the Divine Marriage has brought alot of change in her life, including the break-up of her marriage. She commented on how though this has been a tumultuous it has been healing.
Another companion shared how her experience at work has brought her to the point of leaving her job. She is in a place of spiritual leadership and shared how there has been mixed reaction to the news of her immanent departure. She saw this mixed reaction as representing the influence of very different Intellectual Concepts on the part of her congregation. Since making her decision to leave she has felt a great sense of healing in her body, soul and spirit as a result of this process. We were all reminded of the concept of "As Above, So Below" and how it works in reverse, too.
Both stories reminded us of the influence of the upper side triads of the Passive and Active Intellectual Concepts. The "shoulds" that we shoulder from our family and cultural inheritance and the impact of our Intellectual Concepts coming up against other people's Intellectual Concepts and how much easier it is to deal with our own and other's Concepts when we are more conscious and able to filter our concepts from having as much of an impact on our behavior and self-image as when we were less conscious.
The side triads were the focus of attention for the rest of the evening and showed up when another companion shared about her struggle with having a gift that she doesn't know what to do with. As she discussed her situation, it was pointed out how many statements she made that seem to come from the upper side triads; statements with the word "should" or "must" or "can't" that indicated some kind of training in her thinking. She was grateful for having this pointed out.
Several companions expressed an appreciation for the group as a safe place in which they can discuss such matters and which promotes their growth and conscious dealings with the Intellectual Concepts they were born with.
We also heard several dreams this evening. Some good feedback/insights were shared about the dreams. It seemed the discussion around the dreams was helpful to those who had received them.
We look forward to a meditation next week.
Remember to remember your companions at 12noon every day.

We will have an open theme of Kabbalah and Healing.
Tonight was a check-in night after a 6 week break. We opened the floor to any reflections of the last month and a half and how the Tree of Life or Jacob's Ladder have been present in our lives.
Megan started with a greeting from companions around the world who we were priveleged to meet at the Kabbalistic Summer School in England during the first week of September, but most specifically from our teacher, Warren Kenton.
Two of our members who are teachers both shared how the Tree of Life has informed their teaching. One who used the Tree explicitly in her teachings with an adult audience who found the tool very helpful. Almost more importantly was how she felt free to use the Tree and share this very important aspect of her life. The other example was from a companion who teaches high school students. She looks forward to teaching the Tree (and possibly having Megan come to teach part of that class) in her World Religions class. She shared how she has free license to not only teach World Religions but to provide experiential classes in which the students get to go through rituals designed to help them bring the tradition under consideration into their bodies as well as their minds.
Another companion shared her experience of training in a particular Japanese healing modality and how clearly she saw Kabbalistic principles throughout her learning. Still another companion shared how she saw our President holding his Tiferet during the speech he gave before Congress in the face of an unprecidented outburst from a Senator. This brought on a longer discussion of the phenomenon of the side triads of Intellectual Concepts and how impactful they are on all of us, but how unconsciously impactful they are on most of the population, to the point of a large portion of the population being swayed to believe that the President's health plan would lead to "death camps" for the elderly. A preposterous idea to most, but still one that is being promoted and believed by a large group of people who have no access to Tiferet and who subjugate their own Tiferet to others who then set the agenda that is accepted without much reflection and truth. We were encouraged by another companion to remember that this phenomenon is just a physical manifestation of a psychological phenomenon going on within these people. That they may be feeling like death camps are around the corner for them based on their world view and this is just an Assiatic expression of Yetziratic emotions.
Finally let me share a sentiment shared by another companion who shared a real personal victory which she attributed in part to her participation in the group and the support she feels from that participation. She has shared in the past how she has had experiences of becoming ungrounded when she has life experiences of higher aspects of the Tree. She recently attended a conference in which she was able to have a "trance" experience and maintain a feeling of groundedness which allowed her to maintain an appropriate demeanor when in the past she might have become distracting to others as she could not contain her ecstatic experience. She was thrilled with this most recent grounded ecstatic experience. At the end of the meeting she expressed her heart-felt appreciation for having found the group and for the support she feels from the group. There was a general consensus of this same sentiment from the whole group.
Remember, be mindful of your companions at 12 noon.
