We will continue on the general theme of Practical Kabbalah. However, we have introduced a new sub-theme of Practical Kabbalah and Healing. This is in preparation for the International Kabbalah Conference that our group will be hosting in October, 2010. We asked the group to be thinking generally about this theme over the next two weeks, as next week will be a meditation led by Megan.
Tonight we started off discussing the theme of what are you attracting through specific statements of will. One student elaborated on what she had shared a few weeks ago about attracting a mind free of negative self-statements. She shared how in the absense of negative voices, she has found a positive voice that was supporting her and which encouraged the physical healing she has been working on for years. She was also able to report that she has had signs of physical healing based on recent blood tests.
We heard from another member who shared how she experienced a greater sense of inner boundaries as she found herself in a situation in which she was able to clearly hold off external attacks on her truth by not taking them in negative statements coming at her from another individual. She reported that she did not outwardly confront the other individual, but was able to hold at bay her own voices that might have allowed the other's words to sink in. She reported that she was able to hold to her truth and not take in the negative energy being thrown at her by the other person.
We began to discuss the new theme of Kabbalah and Healing. Megan stated that through her own guidance, we have accepted leadership of the next international Kabbalah conference in October next year. So it was agreed that we should start to focus on this theme and expand our usual "contemplative" (Thought Triad) method of study and incorporate more "devotional" (Feeling Triad) and "ritual" (Action Triad) methods.
Next week is a meditation which will be led by Megan.
Join us in remembering each other at 12 noon each day.

We remain on the topic of Practical Kabbalah with an emphasis on what we are attracting to ourselves. We are sticking with the idea of what is our intent or what are we intentionally attracting to ourselves. The specific assignment is to use verbal statements of attraction, like "Today, I am living from my higher self."
Tonight we had a great example of the assignment being played out in one of our member's life. She highlighted two aspects of what we are aspiring to at all times as we access our individual Tiferets to be at the best place to attract our higher self; first, she knew the peace or calm of being at Tiferet in the midst of others who were angsting over a family situation. She acknowledged her ability to stay in a fairly neutral place where she could access the truth of the situation without reacting to the behavior of those around her. Secondly, she described how she seemed to naturally fall into that place, without the need to consciously decide to go there. How she fulfilled the weekly assignment is through her conscious attraction of higher self presence in relation to the family situation in which all this happened.
The discussion moved into how intent, purpose and will come into play in our ability to attract the right "stuff" to ourselves. We also talked about the different levels of will that are available to us; vegetable will which is willlessness, animal will which is willfullness (in both its positive and negative expressions) and human will which is free will, which was pointed out includes a high degree of submission to the highest or divine will.
So as you think about the law of attraction, bring your intention to fulfill your purpose through free will and express what you want to attract to your self through positive statements that are present in nature, as if what you are attracting is already in place.
Remember to remember your companions at 12noon!!!

We remain on the topic of Practical Kabbalah with an emphasis on what you are attracting to yourself. We add the flavor of what is your intent or what are you intentionally attracting to yourself. The specific assignment is to use verbal statements of attraction, like "Today, I am living from my higher self."
On Thursday we had a meditation led by Jim. We were presented with two scenarios, the first was something from our past that did not go so well, primarily because we did not bring our higher self to the interaction. We were allowed to re-play the scenario as if we had brought our higher self and witnessed how this addition changed the interaction. We then were taken through an exercise of envisioning ourselves waking in the morning and inviting our higher selves to be present by making the statement, "Today, I am living from my higher self." We were then taken through a scenario in which we encountered someone with whom we are currently in conflict to envision how that interaction might go were we already living from our higher self. The Law of Attraction operates under the influence of our own conscious thoughts. So, what are you consciously attracting to yourself? Bring examples of how it is working in your life on Thursday. Remember to wake up at 12noon every day and bring to mind your companions on the path.
